I'll dominate 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's bout.

Former two-time world title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul met for the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really proceeding.
